Thankful For Cash Giveaway: $250

Thankful for Cash Giveaway

An Amazing Group of Authors & Bloggers have joined together to bring you 1 fabulous prize

1 lucky winner will receive $250 Cash!

What are you thankful this year?

As I take inventory of my blessings, I am thankful for the longevity in my family. My grandmother will turn a youthful 104 on Valentine’s Day. She was a teacher in a one-room school house and my inspiration to enter the education field. Her advice has been priceless.

My stepfather is 92 with a memory sharper than mine. As a WWII veteran from England, he continues to share precious memories that will turn into heart-warming stories in the future.

Leave a comment with your email address and preferred format. I will send you a copy of Merry Christmas, Henry to put you in the holiday spirit.

    I am grateful that nothing
can stop me from enjoying the holidays!

    • I’m with you on that one Jacob. I love this time of year. People are actually nice to each other. Happy Thanksgiving.

  2. Wonderful things to be thankful for 104 and 92 — no small feat and lots of memories and life experiences gained during those years. 🙂

    • Yes, Susan. My grandmother says it’s clean living. My stepfather disagrees. He says it’s pure orneriness that keeps him going.

  3. My goodness Missy…amazing ages! What a nice post x

    • Thanks, Shey. I don’t know if I have the energy to live that long!

  4. Tina M

104 That’s is great. My Great uncle passed away and he was 100.. I’m Thankful for my family and the way we are always there for everyone no matter what. I would love a Kindle book. grandmatinaof2(at)gmail(dot)com Thank You..

    • And 100 is nothing to sneeze at. A kindle on the way. Thanks for commenting.

  5. Lovely things to be thankful for, Aubrey 🙂 xx

  6. That’s amazing that your grandmother will be 104. She must have some amazing stories about her life. My great-grandmother passed away in 2004 at the age of 92, and was sharp as a tack until the day she died. I wish I’d taken the time to ask her to tell me stories from her youth.

    • Oh, she was an independent rebel in her youth. Didn’t get married til close to 30 when she finally gave into family pressure. Poor Grandpa had no idea what he was getting into with that woman. 🙂

  7. What a lovely thing to be grateful for!! I’m so happy for you that you are savoring every memory!!

  8. I am grateful that Jesus was born so I can have everlasting life, and that is why we celebrate Christmas

    • You are so right. And sometimes we get so caught up in the commercial side of the season, we forget what the real reason behind Christmas.
